Sky Express LLC (“Sky Express,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our recruiting and dispatch operations, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who We Are

Sky Express LLC is a US interstate motor carrier operating dry van freight under MC# 1124302 and USDOT# 3452293, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you submit one of the forms on this site (quote request, driver application, owner operator application, lease operator application, or office career application), we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number;
• Details relevant to your request — for example freight origin and destination, equipment type, shipper/broker/3PL role, CDL class and driving experience, truck and trailer details, or the position you are applying for;
• Any free-text notes you choose to include;
• Whether you checked the box consenting to receive SMS messages and phone calls, together with the date and time of that consent.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard technical data for every request: IP address, user agent, referring page, requested URL, and timestamp. These logs exist to keep the site available and secure, and are not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

We set one strictly necessary first-party cookie, se_consent, which stores your cookie choices for 12 months. Optional preference, analytics, and marketing cookies are set only after you allow them. See our Cookie Policy for full detail.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To answer freight quote requests and set up shipper, broker, and 3PL accounts;
• To evaluate driver, owner operator, lease operator, and office applications, and to communicate with applicants about hiring;
• To contact you by phone, SMS, or email about the request you submitted;
• To meet our legal, safety, insurance, and FMCSA record-keeping obligations;
• To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of our forms;
• To understand how the site is used and improve it — only if you have allowed analytics cookies.

4. SMS Messaging and Phone Calls

How we obtain consent

We contact you by SMS or phone only where you have given us your number and asked us to. Consent is obtained through an unchecked opt-in checkbox on our web forms, or verbally when you call us and ask to be texted. Consent to receive marketing or recruiting text messages is never a condition of employment, of being considered for a position, or of purchasing any service from us. You can submit any form on this site without checking the SMS box.

What we send

• Recruiting: job openings, application status, orientation scheduling, and onboarding steps;
• Operations: load offers, dispatch updates, pickup and delivery details, and check calls;
• Freight quotes: rate responses and service updates for shippers, brokers, and 3PLs.

Message frequency varies with your activity and your role. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to opt out of that message program; you will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (816) 256-8329 or hr@skyexpresstrucking.com. Opting out of SMS does not withdraw a job application or cancel a freight request — we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the preceding twelve months. We disclose information only:

• To service providers acting on our instructions — our web host, email provider, and SMS aggregator — bound by contract to use it only to deliver those services;
• To background-screening, drug-and-alcohol-testing, and MVR providers, where you have applied for a safety-sensitive position and have separately authorised that screening;
• To brokers, shippers, and insurers where it is necessary to move your freight or verify our authority;
• Where required by law, subpoena, or a lawful request from FMCSA, DOT, or another regulator;
• To a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, under the same protections.

6. How Long We Keep It

Quote and contact requests are retained for up to 24 months. Driver and operator application records are retained in line with FMCSA driver-qualification-file requirements, which generally require retention for the duration of employment or engagement plus three years. SMS consent records are retained for at least four years after the consent is withdrawn, as evidence of opt-in. Server logs are retained for 90 days.

7. Security

This site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted and delivered to a restricted internal mailbox. Access to applicant and customer records is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
• Opt out of SMS: reply STOP, or contact us directly.
• Opt out of email: use the unsubscribe link, or email us.
• Cookies: change your choices at any time using the button below or the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer.
• Non-discrimination: we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we will verify your identity before responding and will reply within 45 days.

9. Children

This site is directed at commercial and employment audiences and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Resources

There are none. Every asset on this site — stylesheets, scripts, and the typefaces themselves — is served from our own server. Loading a page makes no request to any third party, so no other company learns your IP address, your browser, or which of our pages you read. We embed no advertising pixels, social widgets, session recorders, analytics tags, chat widgets, or fonts hosted elsewhere.

The one place data leaves our systems is outbound email and SMS delivery, described in sections 4 and 5.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page, and where cookie practices change you will be asked for your consent again.
